Welcome to the Underground.
Every generation produces its MISFITS.
The ones who ask one more question.
The ones who refuse to confuse confidence with competence.
The ones who don't need permission to think for themselves.
The ones who are willing to stand alone if that's where the evidence leads.
We've been called difficult.
Contrarian.
Stubborn.
Too honest.
Too much.
Good.
History has a funny habit of proving that today's MISFITS often become tomorrow's pioneers.
This isn't a club for people who think they know everything.
It's a home for people who know better than to ever stop asking.
Somewhere along the way, we stopped rewarding curiosity.
We started rewarding certainty.
Algorithms learned that outrage sells better than nuance.
Marketing learned that fear sells better than facts.
Politics learned that division is easier than dialogue.
Somewhere in all that noise, critical thinking got buried under opinions shouted loudly enough to masquerade as truth.
MISFITS isn't here to add to the noise.
We're here to cut through the noise... and the bullshit.
Let's get one thing straight.
This isn't a cannabis website.
Cannabis just happens to expose almost every flaw in modern society.
Bad science.
Good science.
Corporate greed.
Government overreach.
Medical breakthroughs.
Medical myths.
Marketing hype.
Consumer ignorance.
Human resilience.
You can learn a surprising amount about the world by watching how people talk about one plant.
The conversations always become bigger than cannabis.
They become conversations about trust.
Trust should never be demanded.
It should be earned.
That's why you'll rarely hear me say, "Believe me."
Instead, I'll say:
"Here's the evidence."
"Here's what we know."
"Here's what we don't know."
"Here's why it matters."
And if better evidence comes along tomorrow, I may change my mind.
That's not weakness.
That's integrity.
You won't find clickbait here.
You won't find miracle cures.
You won't find rage farming, fake experts, or manufactured certainty.
You'll find stories.
Science translated into plain English.
Hard-earned lessons.
Industry bullshit called exactly what it is.
The occasional inappropriate joke.
Probably some profanity.
And an unwavering commitment to intellectual honesty.
The world has enough people selling certainty.
I am more interested in teaching people how to think than telling them what to think.
Question me.
Question everyone.
Especially the people who insist they already have all the answers.
MISFITS isn't about fitting into cannabis culture.
It's about refusing to fit into any culture that values comfort over truth.
We celebrate the mechanics, nurses, artists, scientists, veterans, entrepreneurs, tradespeople, teachers, parents, weirdos, black sheep, and beautifully stubborn humans who refuse to outsource their thinking.
If you've ever been told you ask too many questions...
Welcome.
If you've ever challenged a bad idea because nobody else would...
Welcome.
If you've ever been called "too much" simply because you refused to pretend...
Welcome home.
The majority of people are genuinely good.
A small minority are spectacularly fucked in the head.
Learning the difference—and refusing to become either cynical or naïve—is one of the most valuable skills you'll ever develop.
Choose curiosity over certainty.
Choose evidence over ego.
Choose truth, even when it's inconvenient.
Especially then.
Welcome to the MISFITS.
I don't promise you'll agree with everything you read here.
I do promise I'll never ask you to stop thinking.
If this made you think...
Share it.
Quote it.
Debate it.
Teach it.
Print it.
Email it.
Text it to someone who needs to read it.
All I ask is that you keep my name attached to it and link back to the original article.
Because ideas deserve to travel.
